Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actress and television presenter. She is best known for her role as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. The actress was born as the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16 and a leading character in various TV dramas. Her critically acclaimed role in the film made for television Der Tunnel paved way for many other noteworthy roles, including the role of Secretary to Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge in the critically and commercially popular Oscar nominated historical war film Downfall. Additional Oscar nominated films featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra's professional career has included be involved in a variety of notable international and national projects.
