Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for a long time. Alexandra is famous for her the roles she played as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16she already been offered a variety of television roles for instance, the lead in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her role on Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Through the years, Alexandra was involved in numerous important international and national productions. A few of them include the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek film The Dust of Time, and French historical miniseries Napoleon. Other roles she has held include being an official jury member for each of The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
